It’s Sydney Film Festival’s 60th anniversary this year, bid a fond farewell to the 60th annual Sydney Film Festival at an evening filled with acclaim, applause, awards and one more example of the best in film. Join us at the magnificent State Theatre as we call it a wrap and celebrate the finale of another fantastic festival.
Before the screening of the SFF 2013 Closing Night film Twenty Feet From Stardom, you will be part of our awards ceremony, honouring the winners of the $60,000 Sydney Film Prize and the 2013 FOXTEL Australian Documentary Prize. You will also witness the announcement of the Dendy Awards for Australian Short Films, including the Live Action Short Award, the Rouben Mamoulian Award for best short film director and the Yoram Gross Animation Award.
This is another gala night full of excitement and colour and the perfect way to finish your film festival journey for another year. We hope you can join us!

When you're cruising through the city during the festival, stop by and catch a glimpse of what's on offer and what's been happening at the 60th-annual festival.
And it's not just SFF celebrating a milestone this year. The Film Australia collection,
a diverse range of more than 5000 documentaries and education programs, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Film Australia's mission was to create a rich audiovisual record of Australian life.

We're proud to showcase on the big screen some great examples of this extraordinary collection, including Sydney-centric films featuring our beaches, harbour, markets, Lord Mayors and Sydney Opera House.
